The Relationship between Suspended Solid Loads and Dissolved Material during Floods of Various Origin in Catchments of Different Use

The paper presents the results of stationary, detailed studies on variability mutual share two fluvial loads, i.e., suspended solids and dissolved material during floods caused by rainstorm, continuous rainfalls snowmelt in selected rivers (Silnica, Sufraganiec) draining small catchments central Poland, including characterized a high level urbanization. Irrespective origin flood, load did not exceed 80% urbanized catchments, suburban catchments—44%, forest catchments—32%. In former, gradient increase concentration time first phase flood was several times higher than other catchments. It proved that statistically significant relationships exist between sealed surfaces (roads, car parks, roofs, etc.) total catchment area average solids, both rising falling wave, regardless their origin. Similar were documented analyzing: density drainage network (storm sewers, roads, etc.)—the suspension. obtained have an interesting cognitive aspect practice are used for development hydrotechnical documentation related to water management city.
